Planning triple at Edinburgh House, St Albans
Permitted development rights were granted earlier in the year for a scheme of 9 units, with the strategy to apply for full planning consent for treatments to the external façade, replacement windows, infilling the undercroft and a new mansard floor at roof level creating an additional four apartments. On receiving the planning consent in the summer, a further revision was sought to amend the mansard roof and improve the consent. This was successfully achieved in October 2015, allowing construction to go ahead. The development is due for completion in the spring 2016.
